ABOUT GENERATION RISING
Generation Rising is a Christian organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in Latin America through Christ-centred education. We partner with local schools and churches to provide high-quality education to children growing up in poverty, equipping them with the tools, faith, and opportunities to transform their futures.
Our supporters are deeply invested in seeing children thrive — academically, spiritually, and socially. As our community grows, we are seeking a Manager of Supporter Relations to build meaningful, personal relationships with mid-level supporters across Canada and help them increase their impact.
Generation Rising is a Christian organization, and applicants are expected to understand and agree with our Statement of Faith (genrising.org/about-us).
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a frontline fundraising role focused on supporters giving $1,000–$10,000 annually.
Your primary responsibility is to build the work of Generation Rising through building and maintaining relationships with our supporters. This means your main responsibility is to:
👉 Build relationships
👉 Pick up the phone
👉 Set meetings
👉 Inspire generosity
You will manage a portfolio of engaged supporters and prospects and actively move them toward deeper partnership and new opportunities to get involved. This role is highly relational and performance-driven. Success is measured by outreach activity, meetings, and growth in supporter engagement.
This is also a leadership role. You will be trusted to own your portfolio and drive your work without micromanagement. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, manages their time well, and is accountable for results.
While the main focus of this role is on our mid-level supporters, you will also be expected to lead stewardship efforts across the organization including but not limited to how we thank our supporters, how we engage our supporters in general and how we grow connection with our supporters.
If you love connecting with people, making calls, and taking ownership of your work — this role is for you.
ABOUT YOU
You believe fundraising is ministry. You see generosity as partnership, not transactions.
