Killam Baptist Church is a multi-generational evangelical church with two campuses located in the County of Flagstaff, Alberta.

We are seeking applications for the full-time position of Associate Pastor to work alongside the Lead Pastor in the various ministries of the church to develop
believers who would ‘Love Jesus, teach Biblical truth and reach people for Christ.’

We are a healthy, growing church with an average attendance of 100-120 each Sunday at our campuses in Killam and Forestburg,
however we serve approximately 180 people across the County of Flagstaff.

We are located in a rural setting, 45 minutes east of Camrose and about 1½ hours outside of Edmonton, Alberta
and operate within the Baptist General Conference of Canada.

Killam is a thriving, vibrant town located within Flagstaff County, at the intersection of Highways 13 and 36
in central-east Alberta. Killam is a clean and quiet municipality with welcoming residents that are committed to their community.
Killam offers traditional “small town values” with the comforts you have come to expect in larger cities. It has a large grocery store and drug store,
several hairdressers, a new and modern dentist office, and a hospital with an active ER department with three doctors. Killam
also offers an Agriplex facility with swimming pool, ice arena, fitness gym and indoor playground.
Public school in Killam is offered for grades 1-9 and there is also a very active homeschool community in our county.

The Village of Forestburg is located 20 km north of the scenic Battle River valley and
offers both a unique setting and varied recreational opportunities. Agriculture, coal mining, power generation and the oil and gas industry are the
building blocks of Forestburg’s “Growing Community”. Forestburg offers a modern hockey arena, curling, a 9 hole golf course, an outdoor swimming pool and a
school (grades 1-12). There is also a ski hill within 30 km of Forestburg.

In addition to these amenities in Killam and Forestburg, there are many more conveniences in the County ofFlagstaff.

Qualifications that we are looking for:
- Bible School training is preferred
- Sound Biblical doctrine in line with the BGCA/BGCC
- A Spirit-filled, mature believer with a passion for discipleship and outreach into our church and communities
- Capable of carrying out some preaching, teaching and training of lay leaders
- Self-motivated team player with leadership ability
- Teachable
