Located just 20 minutes north of Saskatoon, Dalmeny is a growing prairie community with strong family values and a welcoming small-town atmosphere. Dalmeny Bible Church is a multigenerational church of approximately 220 weekly attendees with a rich history of faithful ministry dating back to 1904.
As a church, we are committed to making followers of Jesus Christ in our community and around the world. We desire a Lead Pastor who loves God, loves people, and is passionate about helping believers grow into mature disciples of Jesus Christ.

About the Role
The Lead Pastor serves alongside the Elder Team to provide spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, pastoral care, staff oversight, and vision for the church. The successful candidate will foster a culture of discipleship, encourage evangelism and outreach, and equip the congregation to live out their faith in everyday life.

Key Responsibilities
Preaching and Teaching
● Prepare and deliver expository, gospel-centered, biblically sound, Spirit-led sermons.
● Lead weekly worship services and special services.
● Provide theological oversight for all teaching ministries
Vision and Leadership
● Work alongside the Elders to cast and communicate a compelling vision for the church.
● Lead strategic planning and disciple-making initiatives.
● Encourage and develop new ministry opportunities.
Shepherding and Pastoral Care
● Provide spiritual care, counseling, and encouragement to individuals and families.
● Model servant leadership, humility, and Christlike character.
● Equip the congregation to care for one another and engage in evangelism.
Staff and Ministry Oversight
● Supervise ministry staff and key volunteers.
● Lead regular staff meetings and provide coaching and development.
● Foster collaboration among ministry leaders and teams.
Administration and Governance
● Report regularly to the Elder Team.
● Assist with budgeting, stewardship, policy review, and ministry planning.
● Work closely with the Church Administrator and ministry leaders.
Community Engagement
● Represent the church within the community.
● Encourage participation in local and global missions.
● Build relationships that create opportunities for gospel outreach.

Qualifications
Applicants should:
● Demonstrate a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a gospel-centered life.
● Meet the biblical qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:5–9.
● Agree with Dalmeny Bible Church's doctrinal statement, values, and vision.
● Possess a minimum four-year equivalent theological or pastoral education.
● Have at least five years of pastoral ministry experience, preferably within a pastoral team setting.
● Demonstrate effective preaching, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Lead with humility, integrity, teachability, and vision.

Dalmeny Bible Church is affiliated with the Fellowship of Evangelical Bible Churches and serves Dalmeny and the surrounding rural communities.
Our congregation includes families, children, youth, young adults, seniors, and many active volunteers. We offer vibrant ministries for all ages, including youth ministries, children's programs, discipleship groups, leadership development, local outreach initiatives, and global mission partnerships.
