Covenant Christian Reformed Church located in northeast Winnipeg is seeking a part-time Worship Assistant.
The Worship Assistant works closely with the volunteer worship leaders of Covenant
CRC to provide resources and guidance for the planning of weekly worship services
that are consistent with the mission and values of our church. The Worship Assistant
would work closely with the Pastor and will have the support and guidance of the
Worship Committee. The Worship Assistant also ensures communication and
coordination among all worship service volunteers, including musicians and audiovisual operators,
and recruits volunteers for seasonal and occasional worship
elements, such as choirs and vocal and choral ensembles.
This position is part-time (20 hours per week) 2 days in the church office with some
flexibility for remaining work hours. The successful candidate will preferably have
some worship planning experience and educational or professional qualifications in
the area of worship and/or music. Salary is commensurate with experience.
